Design Objective
Pilz, a global leader in industrial safety technology, approached Lindsay Exhibit Group with a clear mission: elevate their trade show presence with the support of a reliable, local exhibit partner. The goal was to consolidate exhibit assets, modernize the look and feel, and bring their cutting-edge safety technology to life in an interactive, compelling way at Automate 2025 in Detroit — all while maximizing existing inventory and avoiding the cost of starting from scratch.
Obstacles to Overcome
Pilz’s existing exhibit properties were scattered across warehouses in Illinois and Ohio, creating logistical challenges and inefficiencies. The team needed a partner who could consolidate assets, identify what could be reused, and supplement strategically, without compromising visual impact. As a high-tech client, Pilz also required hands-on time for engineers to install and fine-tune specialized safety equipment and demos well before show day, demanding flexibility throughout fabrication and pre-show staging.
Features of Exhibit
20′ x 30′ split island booth built from existing Pilz frames supplemented with LEG rental inventory for a refreshed, cost-effective result. A safety cage exhibit simulated real shop floor conditions, while two interactive technology demos highlighted Pilz’s safety innovations. Finishing details included a 3D halo-lit logo sign and cleanly mounted product boards. LEG hosted Pilz engineers in the showroom for pre-show install and testing, then managed every logistical detail — freight coordination, install & dismantle, and onsite support throughout show prep.
